Take It With a Grain of Salt ... or More

Last year, I had gotten one of those fancy bunny ear type of salt and pepper grinders on sale.

Although they had the advantage of working with only one hand,
they didn't really work very well.

It seemed as if I was getting more exercise than salt or pepper.

Last Tuesday, I finally decided to pick up a new salt grinder.
When I put it on the kitchen counter, I discovered that MacGyver had bought a new pepper grinder.
I guess he didn't enjoy the wrist exercises either.

This evening, RD was looking for an after dinner snack
and decided to have some cottage cheese on bread.

We usually sprinkle a bit of salt over the cheese to enhance the flavour
so I mentioned that he could be the first one to use the salt grinder.

We teased about him spilling the salt,
and in the blink of an eye it was over.

I can't say I don't know what happened because I know exactly what happened.

RD flipped the salt grinder upside down and started turning the top in the wrong direction.

This is literally a whole bottle of salt over a piece of toast.
